Hematite round beads are hand-woven together with red glass seed beads to create this sparkling bracelet. Dichroic glass clasp bead. Length 7 3/4 inches. April's handwoven zig-zag bracelets feel nice to wear.
The dense Hematite crystal has a metallic-like luster and a high iron content. Hematite has been used by prehistoric peoples to draw on stone and was ground into pigment.
Hematite was also used in healing rituals for blood issues, and used to prevent excessive bleeding in childbirth and in battles.
