Tiger Eye Trails Necklace
Centered by a natural Chrysocolla Lapis ball, this subtle but stunning necklace brings together the warmth of Gold, beads of brown Tiger Eye in three shapes, and cool blues of Chrysocolla in three bead shapes.
Gold-filled tubes, rings, and hand-hammered clasp hook. Brass wire-wrapping.
Length is 18 inches, adjustable to 19".
Soft and fragile, Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper silicate that contains Malachite and Azurite as revealed here. It is often found in stalactites, and energetically contributes to its flow of positive energies that help one adapt to change and spiritual growth.
What sets Tiger Eye apart is its unique optical phenomenon known as chatoyancy. Chatoyancy, also referred to as the cat’s eye effect, is a visible band of light that moves across the surface of the stone, resembling the slit-eye of a cat. This effect is caused by the reflection and scattering of light by parallel fibrous inclusions within the stone.
