Sterling Silver wire is hand-formed into spiral posts. Large beautiful red-orange faceted Carnelian beads center these elegant earrings, and are topped with clear aqua Apatite, and below are tiny Crysocholla cubes.
As early as 2500 BCE, the Egyptians wore Carnelian in the belief that it would bring peace by dispelling envy, anger, and hatred.
Moon rocks collected by astronauts during the Apollo program contain traces of the mineral Apatite. Re-analysis of these samples in 2010 revealed water trapped in the mineral as hydroxyl, leading to estimates of water on the lunar surface higher than previously estimates.
