A rare specimen of Roman Era Glass centers this exquisite necklace. Iridescent colors of metallic inclusions naturally developed from centuries of burial in the sands of the Middle East, and were retrieved by present-day local people.
Hand-hammered Sterling silver wire connectors assemble pieces of ancient glass, along with round beads of natural minerals Chrysochola Lapis, Green and Blue Aventurine, and Sodalite. Tiny gold-plated disc beads add to the glimmer and glamour.
A one-of-a-kind statement necklace Blue Moon Goddess necklace measures 20- 22 inches. Focal "Blue Moon" glass bead measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
